PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dead reckoning navigation system and dead reckoning navigation for walker which can support the walking of a walker without requiring any specific infrastructure always by enabling the walker to exhibit its ability. SOLUTION: Differently from the conventional dead reckoning navigation system for walker which supports the walking of a walker, this dead reckoning navigation system for the walker is provided with a portable sensor which can become a basis for presuming the moved amount of the walker, a route storing means which prestores a referent position which is the position of a reference point set along the planned walking route of the walker, and a position presuming means which leads out a presumed position which is presumed as the present location of the walker on the basis of the output of the portable sensor. This navigation system is also provided with a bearing calculating means which calculates a target bearing toward a target reference position which is the reference position existing on the front side of the advancing direction on the walking route from the presumed position and a bearing teaching means which informs the walker of the target bearing.
