PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly and easily connect columnar bodies without using special machines and skills, integrally and rotatably join an upper columnar body and a lower columnar body while preventing the relative rotation thereof and allow the use of the columnar bodies in inner excavation, soil cement combined pile or rotationally buried pile methods. SOLUTION: Both adjacent columnar bodies A1 and A2 are formed to be fittable at a cylinder portion 1 and a shaft portion 2. A connection mechanism S for freely connecting these in a locked condition and a detent mechanism M for preventing the relative rotation are provided and a key member 18 is provided extending over an inward groove 6 of the cylinder portion 1 and an outward groove 12 of the shaft portion 2 to form the connection mechanism S. Recessed portions E are formed in one or both of the cylinder portion 1 and the shaft portion 2. A fitting key member H is provided separately from the cylinder portion 1 and the shaft portion 2. In the condition that the cylinder portion 1 and the shaft portion 2 are fitted and connected to each other, the fitting key member H is fitted to the recessed portion E of one of the cylinder portion 1 and the shaft portion 2 and the fitting key member H is fixed to the other to form the detent mechanism M for preventing the relative rotation of both columnar bodies A1, A2.
