FLOCKING PILE FIBER, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME AND FLOCKED PRODUCT USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Provided is a method of manufacturing a flocking pile fiber which involves excellent cutting of the pile fiber while reducing the defective proportion due to the miss-cuts, and prevents the non-uniform dyeing while enabling the dark colored dyeing. CONSTITUTION: The flocking pile fiber comprises polytrimethyleneterephthalate (PTT) or polycyclohexanemethyleneterephthalate (PHMT) with a fineness of 0.01-0.3 denier, and a length of 0.1-1mm. The pile fiber is false-twisted at 20-500%. A method of manufacturing the flocking pile fiber comprises the steps of: towing a conjugated fiber filament with PTT or PHMT; cutting the filament into pieces of pile fiber with a length of 0.1-1mm; and weight loss finishing the cut pile fiber with a NaOH solution such that the fineness thereof is 0.01-0.3 denier; and dyeing the pile fiber.
