PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor polisher in which a vertical position of polishing means can be easily adjusted. SOLUTION: The floor polisher 10 having a sand belt 21 for polishing a floor 50 is provided with front wheels 12 and auxiliary wheels 14 of the floor polisher 10. A lower end portion of the auxiliary wheel 14 is able to ascend and descend to a position above and below the lower end portion of the front wheel 12. In this case, an auxiliary wheel elevating and lowering means for elevating and lowering the auxiliary wheels 14 comprises a link 42 for rotatably connecting the axle of the front wheel 12 with the axle 14a of the auxiliary wheel 14, a shift cable passing through a through hole formed on the side surface 14b of the axle 14a of the auxiliary wheel 14, a block arranged on the lower side of the axle of the front wheel 12 to fix one end portion of the shift cable, an operating lever 33 which can be drawn in the direction that the other end side of the shift cable is pulled out from a through-hole formed on the side surface of the axle 14a, and a coil spring for energizing the axle 14a such that the distance between the axle 14a and the block is elongated.
