PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus for a vehicle capable of improving the degree of freedom in the size and layout of a liquid crystal display device in an analog meter according to the amount of information to be displayed while suppressing rises in manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: A second diffusing plate 19 is provided separately from a first diffusing plate 18 at a prescribed interval in a cross direction via a support plate 22. A protrusion part 19a is located in the inner direction of a dial part 17a in a front view than the locations of faces 16h and 16i of front and rear liquid crystal display glass members 16b and 16c and integrally provided. The protrusion part 19a is located between the dial part 17a and an LED 21 for a dial and provided so as to prevent illumination light of the LED 21 for the dial from being directly incident onto the faces 16i and 16h and to diffuse the transmitting illumination light.
