Non-chokable pump comprises an impeller (2) consisting of a support disk (6) provided with blades (7, 8) and arranged a distance away from an opposite-lying housing wall (12) so that from the inlet (11) of the pump to the impeller outlet between the impeller and the housing wall a passage is maintained allowing the free passage of a spherical object of specified size contained in the conveying liquid. The passage has a minimum extension (M) corresponding to the desired spherical passage from the inlet to the impeller outlet through the mounting of the blades of the impeller. Preferred Features: The passage with the minimum extension follows the course of a blade of the impeller. |
