A lifting system designed for an air-suspended vehicle axle, the axle beam of which is secured to two trailing links (3), of which one end is pivotably hinged on the chassis, preferably above a console (5) and the other rests upon an air bag (6) secured to said chassis, comprises a lifting device (9, 11) taking its bearing against the console (5), which enables, when actuated and when air is released from both air bags supporting the trailing link (1) on the chassis, said trailing link (1) to be lifted. In order to design such a lifting device so as to be adaptable to any kind of vehicle, especially to those having air-suspended axles fitted with disc brakes, it is suggested that the negative lift member of the lifting device (9, 11) rests upon one element of the driver train (13) and that, by actuating said lifting device (9, 11), the drive train element (13) moves so as to press from underneath the corresponding trailing link (3), thereby lifting it. |
