METHOD OF LINKING DOCUMENT ELEMENT WITH CORRESPONDING FIELD, QUERY AND/OR PROCEDURE IN DATABASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for mapping and linking elements in a document with corresponding field or query in database.

SOLUTION: The document is annotated with structural elements of markup language such as eXtensible Markup Language (XML) for mapping the corresponding database. When the respective elements in the document are mapped and linked with the corresponding data field and the query in the selected database, the elements are mapped by the conversion executed for the respective elements in the document and automatically updated to the corresponding data in the linked database. On the contrary, the corresponding elements in the document are automatically updated by the conversion executed for the individual data fields in the selected database.
