摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength demultiplexer/multiplexer having high wavelength resolution by providing a resonator enhancing a Q value and combining the resonator and a waveguide in a two-dimensional photonic crystal. SOLUTION: In the resonator having point defects in the two-dimensional photonic crystal, the two-dimensional photonic crystal is composed to arrange a substance (2) having a smaller refractive index as compared with a plate material (1), and having a low refractive index of the same size shape in a two-dimensional grating point set in the plate material (1). The point defects (4) include a plurality of three or more mutually adjacent grating points not to arrange the substance (2) with the low refractive index on the grating points. The substance (2) with the low refractive index to be arranged by corresponding to at least one of the most proximate grating points to the point defects (4) is arranged to be displaced in only a prescribed distance from the grating point.
