PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact separate type air-conditioner with an indoor unit in lower construction, having performance and efficiency equal to or greater than conventional one in simpler construction. SOLUTION: The separate type air-conditioner in a bookstand shape comprises an air inlet portion 4 and a blow portion 3 provided on the lower side of a casing and the indoor unit 1 provided on the upper side thereof where a heat exchanger 2 and an air outlet portion 6 are arranged.
