USB MINI-B PLUG MOUNTED ON PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD

PURPOSE: A USB(Universal Serial Bus) mini-B plug mounted on a printed circuit board is provided to connect a peripheral device to a mini-B socket of a computer without using a separate cable. CONSTITUTION: A USB mini-B plug includes a plurality of terminals(60), a mold(70), and a shield case(80). One end of each of the terminals is combined with a USB mini-B socket of a computer and the other end of each terminal is in contact with a printed circuit board. The mold is injection-molded such that the mold is integrated with the plurality of terminals. The mold has a protrusion(72) formed on the bottom face of the mold. The protrusion is inserted into a hole formed in the printed circuit board. The shield case houses the mold and includes at least one pair of fixing parts(82) fixed to the printed circuit board.
