PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain IP (Internet protocol) network communication equipment capable of surely eliminating echoes in a self-station side by enhancing the calculation accuracy of time delay of incoming and outgoing transmission paths. SOLUTION: A control packet including a transmitting time is transmitted to the opposite station through an IP network 5, and when the control packet is returned from the opposite station through the IP network 5, the delay time of the incoming and outgoing transmission paths is calculated from a receiving time of the control packet and the transmitting time included in the control packet. This can accurately calculate the delay time of the incoming and outgoing transmission paths even if the transmitting side transmission path is different from the receiving side transmission path to consequently and surely be able to eliminate echoes in the self-station side.
