ENDOTOXIN MEASURING SENSOR, MEASURING METHOD, DIAGNOSTIC METHOD, MANUFACTURING METHOD AND SENSOR REPRODUCING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new measuring method for substituting for a limulus test, easily measuring an endotoxin (ET), achieving mechanization in measurement and eliminating use of an expensive reagent by utilizing a surface plasmon resonance measuring method (SPR) as a measuring technique. SOLUTION: When the ET is measured by using the SPR, a material having a capacity for specifically adsorbing the ET such as polymyxin B is fixed on a SPR measuring carrier. The ET can be easily and quickly measured from a specimen by using it as a sensor. After the measurement, the sensor can be regenerated and measurement can be made repeatedly.
