摘要 PURPOSE: A device for generating a reproduction clock of an optical disk where a wobble signal is recorded and a method therefor are provided to more exactly reproduce a phase-modulated wobble signal to display position information by being recorded on an optical disk, thereby exactly detecting the position information. CONSTITUTION: An oscillator(3) generates a system clock. A frequency divider(4) divides the system clock, and outputs a signal having the first frequency. A phase error detector(5) inputs a wobble signal having the second frequency and the first frequency signal from the frequency divider(4), detects a phase error between the first frequency signal and the wobble signal, and outputs a phase error signal. An oscillator controller(2) outputs a control signal for adjusting synchronization between the system clock and the wobble signal to the oscillator(3) by using the phase error signal.
