PURPOSE: A method for forming compacted pellets for organic electroluminescence diode displays and a method for manufacturing organic electroluminescence diode displays are provided to achieve improved thermal characteristics and physical strength by mixing one or more organic electroluminescence diode materials and one or more thermally insulating organic materials prior to a compression step. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming compacted pellets for organic electroluminescence diode displays, comprises a step of providing a sublimable organic substance in powder; a step of providing thermally insulating non-sublimable inorganic substance in powder; a step of mixing the sublimable organic substance and the thermally insulating non-sublimable inorganic substance; a step of arranging the mixture in a die, and integrating the powder mixture into a solid pellet by pressing the mixture through the use of two punches; a step of assisting the integration of powder mixture into the solid compacted pellet by heating the die during or prior to the pressing operation of the punches; and a step of removing the compacted pellet from the die.
