PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image defect from occurring even in the early stage of the operation of an image forming apparatus using a magnetic one-component jumping developing system. SOLUTION: A toner image is obtained by developing an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor drum 14 in compliance with the magnetic one-component jumping developing system. The developing roll 12 having a fixed magnet roller 12a where a plurality of magnetic poles are formed and a non-magnetic rotary developing sleeve 12b including the magnet roller is arranged in a developing device 11. The rotary developing sleeve has a blast-treated surface which has been blast-treated, and oxide powder adheres to the peak part of the blast-treated surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
