PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device for a rolling bearing that prevents increase of sliding resistance between a lip part of a seal member and the inner wall of a seal groove, has a waterproof performance that does not become lower than that at a slinger mounted time even when the slinger is abolished, has high workability, and has reduced cost. SOLUTION: The lip part formed in the inner periphery of the seal member 7 disposed between an outer ring 2 and an inner ring 4 comprises a sub lip part 7s forming a labyrinth 8 between it and the outer peripheral surface of the inner ring, a flexible constriction 7d, and a main lip part 7m in a ring shape outside via the constriction 7d. The seal groove 4a formed in an end of the outer peripheral surface of the inner ring 4 is formed so as to engage the main lip part 7m of the seal 7, and part of the surface 7h of the main lip part 7m facing the sub lip part 7s is butted on the inside inner wall 4c of the seal groove 4a. The angleαof the main lip part 7m with respect to the axial direction of the surface 7h is set lower than the angleβof it with respect to the axial direction of the inside inner wall 4c of the seal groove.
