<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honing device for improving the service life by restraining abrasion of a tapered cone. <P>SOLUTION: The tapered cone 5 is integrally molded with a main spindle 2, and a contact surface 5a with a honing stage 6 is formed in a taper shape. A honing stick 4 is formed in an outer peripheral part of the honing stage 6. This honing stick 4 contacts with a material 7 to be machined. The tapered cone 5 lowers while rotating according to rotation of the main spindle 2, and the honing stage 6 is pushed out in the outer peripheral direction via the contact surface 5a by lowering of the tapered cone 5. Thus, the honing stick 4 arranged in the outer peripheral part of the honing stage 6 is pushed against the material 7, and the material 7 is ground, and is finished in a prescribed dimension. The honing stage 6 is formed of resin, and hardness of the resin is set to HRR 120 to HRB 100, and a coefficient of static friction is set to 0.1 to 0.3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
