PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for molding an optical element having a fine structure having a complicated shape such as CGH, a conical shape or the like on a curved surface such as a lens surface or the like. SOLUTION: The mold 1 is constituted of a mold matrix 2, a processing layer 3 and an etching layer 4. The processing layer 3 is laminated on the mold matrix 2 roughly processed into a shape corresponding to the lens surface. The processing layer 3 is processed into the shape corresponding to the lens surface with high precision.
