PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily enable a surface of a thin-walled blow molded container to be printed on both surfaces simultaneously without being largely limited in a shape of a body. SOLUTION: A method for printing on the surface of a blow molded thin-walled bottle body comprises a flattening process wherein a blow molded bottle body having a thin walled body part is flattened to a degree that front and rear opposed walls of the body part come very close to each other from the front and rear direction; and a printing process wherein a pair of printing plates are pressed to an area wherein front and rear opposed walls of the body part flattened by the flattening process can be brought into close contact to each other to be printed on the surface of the body part.
