PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an endless belt made of a polyimide resin hard to produce the curl toward the inner surface of the endless belt even in a manufacturing method for forming the endless belt made of the polyimide resin on the surface of a cylindrical core body, and the endless belt made of the polyimide resin manufactured by the method. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the endless belt made of the polyimide resin includes a polyimide precursor coating film forming process for coating the surface of the cylindrical core body with a polyimide precursor solution to form the polyimide precursor film, a polyimide resin film forming process for drying and/or reacting the polyimide precursor coating film under heating to form a polyimide resin film and a polyimide resin film peeling process for peeling the polyimide resin film from the cylindrical core body. At the time of drying and/or reaction of the polyimide precursor coating film under heating, the polyimide precursor coating film is heated from the cylindrical core body side.
