PURPOSE: A socket for preventing the scratch is provided to prevent the scratch of a nut or a head part of a bolt when coupling parts with the socket. CONSTITUTION: A socket comprises a body portion(310) which a connecting hole(312), to which a tool is connected, is formed to a side thereof and an inserting hole(314), to which a nut is inserted, formed to the other side thereof, wherein a mounting groove is formed on the outer surface of the inserting groove; and a parts protecting portion(320) mounted to the mounting groove to prevent the contact of the body portion with the parts when coupling/discoupling the nut to/from the parts.
