PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which enables everyone to easily enjoy different finished pictures by simplifying a picture quality adjusting operation. SOLUTION: A function button is depressed to call a picture quality selection screen 61 onto an LCD panel. In the picture quality selection screen 61, among various picture quality control items, three items of color tone, ISO sensitivity of a CCD image sensor and the number of pixels to be recorded can be controlled. The color tone and the ISO sensitivity are widely known as a selection reference of a photographic film and even the number of pixels to be recorded is gradually known with the rapid spread of the digital camera in recent years.
