PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp device capable of electrically connecting a main body 1 and a reflecting plate 6 with ease and obtaining continuity of protective grounding (earth) without using any fitting or the like. SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp device comprises a main body 1 having an opened bottom part, a lighting device fitted to the main body 1, a socket board 3 closing both sides of the longitudinal direction of the main body 1 and supporting the lamp socket 4, and a reflecting plate 6 covering the lighting device and the inner wiring and effectively reflecting the light from the fluorescent lamp 5. One or a plurality of bent members 63 bent and inclined toward the inside of the main body 1 are formed at the cut-out part for socket arranged at both end parts of the reflecting plate 6 covering the bottom part of the main body 1. The both ends of the bent member 63 are formed in taper shape. The tapered part 64 of the bent member 63 of the reflecting plate 6 is arranged so as to contact with the front part of the fitting part of the socket board 3 supporting the socket 4.
