PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film which has excellent flexibility as the polyester film used as a base film of an FPC, and can improve a yield upon production of the FPC. SOLUTION: In the polyester film comprising a biaxially oriented polyester film for a flexible circuit board, the polyester used as the film is mainly a polyethylene terephthalate produced by using a titanium compound as a polymerization catalyst.
