PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a battery may jump out and get damaged when an operator drops a camera accidentally and a bottom cover may open improperly since it is necessary to provide a battery lock immediately near a battery cover for the miniaturization of an electronic device. SOLUTION: The battery lock is deformed with a load received from the battery when the battery is about to jump out by impact such as the drop of the electronic device. With the deformation, an end face of a battery chamber overlaps with a moving locus of the battery lock to suppress release operation of the battery lock. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
