FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pyrometallurgy and can be used for oxidative firing of gold-containing gravitation and flotation concentrates including significant amounts (up to 100%) of metal sulfides. Method is characterized by that, when passing oxygen-containing gas to material being fired and performing the firing in filtering bed at controlled displacement of material, firing is carrying out in rotating tubular furnace with its inside surface covered by ceramic lining and displacement of material is accomplished by pouring down material being fired caused by rotation of tubular furnace with a speed of 1 to 5 rpm around its axis inclined by 1-5 degrees to material displacement direction. ^ EFFECT: increased productivity and utilized heat evolving from oxidation of sulfides. ^ 1 dwg |
