SYSTEM, DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PREDICTING TRAFFIC CONGESTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid congestion efficiently by predicting traffic congestion precisely.

SOLUTION: A hyperlink information extraction means 30 accesses a number of Web pages and extracts hyperlink information on a hyperlink to other Web pages included in a number of the Web pages. A means 40 totals the number of links and generates information on the number of links every IP address. A traffic pattern generation means 50 measures a traffic in a node A every IP address and generates a traffic pattern every IP address. A traffic monitoring means 60 monitors the traffic in the node A and compares it with a traffic pattern every IP address. When a difference between the traffic pattern and a current traffic is equal to or larger than a threshold, the possibility for the congestion to occur is decided on the basis of the current traffic while referring to a link pattern.
