PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network information setting method and its device for setting network information without requiring any help when a node device is extended or broken down, and for reducing a load on a network. SOLUTION: An already existing second node device N2 positioned on a network in the neighborhood of a first node device N3 to be set on the network registers the identification information of the first node device and network information from a monitor controller 10, and the first node device is connected to the network. The first node device transmits a setting request including the identification information to the network, and the second node device which has received the setting request from the network transmits the network information of the first node device as a reply to the construction request, and the first node device sets the network information of the first node device as a reply to the setting received from the network in its own device in order to complete setting.
