Methods for use of imidazopyrimidine derivatives and triazolopyrimidine derivatives

Imidazopyrimidine derivatives and triazolopyrimidine derivatives of formula (I), a process for the preparation of the derivatives and pharmaceutical preparations containing these derivatives and their use in the treatment of diseases associated with Syk tyrosine kinase activity are disclosed, wherein R1, R2, R3 and Y are as defined in the specification. The imidazopyrimidine derivatives and triazolopyrimidine derivatives of formula (I) inhibit Syk tyrosine kinase activity and are useful for treatment and prophylaxis of diseases involving Syk tyrosine kinase activity as follows: those caused by allergic or inflammatory reaction which include allergic diseases, such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, food allergy, contact allergy, hives, conjunctivitis, and vernal catarrh; autoimmune diseases, such as chronic arthrorheumatism, systemic lupus erythematosus, and psoriasis; diabrotic diseases including diabrotic colitis; fibrous diseases; tumor and the like.
