PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording method by which the amount of diffraction light generated when optical information is reproduced can be made uniform. SOLUTION: When multiple recording of each piece of optical information Mi is performed, the amounts of diffraction light generated when each piece of optical information Mi (i=1 to n) is reproduced can be made uniform by recording each piece of optical information with an amount of light [1] or an amount of light [2] in the recording positions P<SB>1</SB>, P<SB>2</SB>, P<SB>n-1</SB>, and P<SB>n</SB>in the vicinity of beginning and ending recording points and having low multiplicity and by recording optical information with an amount of light [3] in the other recording positions P<SB>3</SB>to P<SB>n-2</SB>having the same multiplicity.
