BIODEGRADABLE COLLAGEN FILM USED FOR ARTIFICIAL ORGANS AND ITS PREPARING METHOD USING COLLAGEN AND GLUCOSAMINOGLYCAN

PURPOSE: Provided are a biodegradable collagen film for manufacturing artificial organs, which is used as a substrate for manufacturing many kinds of artificial organs and has excellent tissue compatibility, and its preparing method. CONSTITUTION: The biodegradable collagen film used for artificial organs is prepared in film type by crosslinking collagens with glucosaminoglycan. The method comprises 3 steps. In the 1st step, less than 1 % collagen solution is lyophilized to prepare a collagen substrate. In the following step, the collagen substrate is immersed in glucosaminoglycan solution to dry at 4-20 deg.deg.C for 24-48 hours and to make a collagen film. In the last step, the collagen film is crosslinked.
