PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip-less single-ended discharge lamp capable of removing intrusion, into a light emitting part, of impurities produced in sealing. SOLUTION: This single-ended discharge lamp is characterized by that the light emitting part 3 ith a pair of electrodes 1 and 2 formed side by side in its inside is formed at a tip part of a sealing body 10; primary sealing parts 6 and 7 with power feeding parts 4 and 5 connected to the electrodes 1 and 2 embedded are formed on the base side of the emitting part 3; and a secondary sealing part 9 is formed in a filler supply through-hole 8 formed along the sealing parts 6 and 7 and having communicated with the emitting part 3.
