PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily realize a line driver circuit in a semiconductor integrated circuit and to stabilize the amplitude of the AMI signal to be sent to a transmission line. SOLUTION: In the driver circuit, input and output terminals of a current source switching circuit with built-in four current sources each comprising an ON/OFF means which is stabilized with respect to the fluctuation of temperature and power supply and becomes in inverse proportion to the fluctuation of resistance value are connected to virtual ground points of two amplifiers to which resistor feedback is applied, the ON/OFF of a current within the current source switching circuit is controlled by an input signal to generate a tertiary state, and the AMI signal is sent to the transmission line via a transformer.
