PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document preparing device which is suitable to prepare a document, such as a setting procedure manual to be prepared just before handing over a system to an end user, when an SI(system integrator) constructs the system. SOLUTION: This document preparing device is constituted by being provided with a display means (PC screen 10a of Fig.) for displaying information for document preparation on the screen, an additional data writing means (pen type device 30) for writing additional data to the information for document preparation displayed on the screen of the display means, a photographing means (HMD (head mounted display) 20) which is worn by an operator and by which the operator photographs a screen state of the display means with the additional data written thereon while visually recognizing the screen state, and an image compositing means (image compositing part 44) for compositing the information for document preparation photographed by the photographing means with the additional data.
