PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke in which leak magnetic field of a vertical deflection coil of a toroidal vertical deflection coil can be reduced with an inexpensive and simple constitution . SOLUTION: The toroidal vertical deflection coil 36 is consisting of a plurality of coil fluxes 361-368, and at the outer peripheral face of a ferrite core 34, ribs 351-358 integrally molded with the ferrite core 34 are installed at positions contacted with the end part of respective coil fluxes. The length in the pipe axial direction of each rib from the end face 343 on the electron gun side of the ferrite core 34 is at least one quarter of the length in the pipe axial direction of the ferrite core 34. Rib height protruding from the outermost surface of the coil flux is established to have the height at least by T taking T as the wound thickness of the coil flux adjacent to the rib.
