PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and effective method to attain a strong metallurgical bonding between a shaft and a rotor, to form a rotor-shaft assembly close to a completed product shape and to manufacture the assembly which can withstand strong force and high temperatures in a turbo-supercharger. SOLUTION: The titanium aluminide rotor (203) made of a powder molded body (203) is fitted to the steel shaft made of a powder molded body (207) with metal powder which is mixed with a bonding agent (211) and interposed between the rotor and the shaft. The rotor-shaft assembly (201) used for the turbo-supercharger is formed by disconnecting and sintering the combination of the fitted molded bodies. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
