摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance light emission efficiency of an optical device of an organic electroluminescent display device. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent display device 1 of this invention comprises: a light-transmissive insulating layer 10, an organic electroluminescent element 40, and a light-extracting layer 30. The organic electroluminescent element 40 comprises: a back electrode 43 disposed on a back side relative to the light-transmissive insulating layer 10; a light-transmissive front electrode 41 interposed between the insulating layer 10 and the back electrode 43; and an organic substance layer 42 interposed between the front electrode 41 and the back electrode 43 and including an light-emitting layer 42a. The light-extracting layer 30 is disposed on an optical path along which light emitted by the light-emitting layer 42a reaches the insulating layer 10 after going out of the organic layer 42. The light-extracting layer 30 comprises a first portion 31 that is a light-transmissive layer having a plurality of holes separated from each other, and a second portion 32 filling the plurality of holes and having an optical property different from that of the first portion 31.
