PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging body for storing an electrode board tape roll, which accommodates the tape roll therein and can simplify a packaging work process, and in which a packaging member can be disposed of after use of the electrode board tape roll and the electrode is prevented from absorbing moisture, etc., and deterioration of electrode performance is inhibited. SOLUTION: The packaging body is so constituted that, on both sides of the electrode board tape roll 1 comprising a winding core 3 and a long electrode board tape 2 wound up on the winding core 3, flanges 5, 8 are mounted through cushion members 4, 7 in such a way that the inner circumferential hole 14 of the winding core 3, holes 15, 17 of the cushion members 4, 7, and holes 16, 18 of the flanges 5, 8 are aligned in position, while core caps 6, 9 respectively composed of cylinder portions 10, 12 to be fitted into the respective through holes and collars 11, 13 are inserted, with the cylinder portions 10 fitted into the holes first from those of the flanges, and the outer form of the pair of the flanges 5, 8 is made greater in size than the outer form of the electrode board tape roll 1 so that the electrode board tape roll 1 can be packaged with gas enclosed and not be grounded, with the flanges 5, 8 being grounded and the electrode board tape roll 1 being suspended and supported.
