PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of decrease in recording speed when continuous marginless recording is performed because the action of returning a platen to the initial position every time when a recording to one recorded medium ends is required in a case where a support member to support a recorded medium is provided around a rotating platen to perform the marginless recording. SOLUTION: In the platen 25, a circular arc support member 26 having an opening 27 in a part is supported around a rotating shaft 29 through an arm 28. When the radius from the center of rotation of the support member 26 is r, and the length of the circular arc of the opening 27 is L, the relationship of L<πr is satisfied.
