PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy to manufacture and assemble a small-sized input device not requiring high part precision or assembly precision. SOLUTION: The rotating direction of an operation dial 52 is detected by a control circuit, on the basis of a signal sensed by two Hall elements 34 and 35, and the rotation quantity of the operation dial 52 is detected, on the basis of the signal sensed by either the Hall elements 34 or 35.
