PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply equal plane pressure to a single cell. SOLUTION: The packed battery is so structured that the distribution of the plane pressure is equalized by giving pressing plates 21 flexibility at random in correspondence with heights of single-cell laminated bodies 2 so that parts with higher heights of the single-cell laminated bodies 2 do not suffer from higher plane pressure.
