PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a wireless LAN system to operate in a hot spot (specific area) to avoid illegal access without requiring complicated access control. SOLUTION: An access point 1 indicates a new password that only a user in a hot spot can read, on a display 4a or 4b for a client 2 at short time intervals, and inputs the new password from the client 2. The access point 1 authenticates the client 2 from a response according to the new password from the client 2 and disconnects communication with a client who can not change the new password, to prevent illegal access.
