PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mobile electronic equipment suitably photographing a moving picture even when the mobile electronic equipment is furthermore downsized. SOLUTION: The mobile phone (mobile electronic equipment) 1 is provided with: a camera unit 80; an AF control section 13 for automatically adjusting the focus of the camera unit 80; a photographing control section 11 for storing moving picture information outputted from the camera unit 80 to a storage section 20; a focus button detection section 15 for transmitting a focus instruction signal to the AF control section 13; and a photographing button detection section 14 for transmitting a photographing instruction signal to the photographing control section 11. When receiving the focus instruction signal, the AF control section 13 automatically adjusts the focus of the camera unit 80 and transmits a focus processing end signal denoting the completion of automatic adjustment to the photographing control section 11, and when receiving the photographing instruction signal, the photographing control section 11 discriminates whether the focus processing end signal is received and stores moving picture information to the storage section 20 only when receiving the focus processing end signal.
