PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of eliminating the inconvenience occurring in link connection at the time of reproduction. SOLUTION: A CPU 209 recognizes that a currently displayed video image is a reproduced program video image based on a partial TS read from a memory card 3, when a link operation is performed on the reproduced program video image, the CPU 209 performs confirmation display of connection execution consisting of buttons of "connect?" and "YES NO" and display of recording date and time (ON air date and time) of a reproduced program prior to start of server connection processing based on link information. The CPU 209 monitors a button operation by a user, and executes the server connection processing based on the link information when the button operation of "YES" is detected, .
