PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an insulation operation rod used by mounting it on a high-voltage circuit breaker, capable of securing high reliability and high dielectric strength without generating any molding defect. SOLUTION: The insulation operation rod, mounted between a movable electrode drawn out from a current breaking part of the circuit breaker and a driving mechanism of a switching operation part and transmitting operation force to the movable electrode, is provided with screw metal fittings 10, 11 at its both ends to be jointed to mating side jointing parts and with the part between them integrally molded with molding resin 12. A core 13 made of a bulk-shaped insulation material is interposed between the screw metal fittings, and a peripheral area of the insulation material core is integrally resin-molded together with the screw metal fittings, and further, umbrella-shaped pleats 12a are formed on the peripheral surface of the molded resin so as to extend a creeping insulation distance.
