PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation device and its voice guide method enabling a user to grasp accurately a course to be taken only by a voice guide even in the case of a crossing having a complicated shape where the course is to be changed. SOLUTION: When detecting that a vehicle approaches a crossing where the course is to be changed (to be turned right or left), a control part 18 examines the shape of the crossing by using map data. When it is determined that the shape of the crossing is complicated, the control part 18 displays a list of the voice guide corresponding to turning right or left on a display device 7. When the user selects the most intelligible voice guide from the list, the control part 18 stores the position of the crossing and the selected voice guide in an HDD 11, and then outputs the selected voice guide from a speaker 9 when the vehicle approaches the same crossing.
