PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for giving necessary vibration damping performance even in a low temperature region to a damper to be mounted on a crank shaft of an engine for damping vibration. SOLUTION: The damper 101 to be mounted on the crank shaft 106 with a center bolt 105 comprises a damper rubber 103 and a damper mass 104. The resonance frequency of the damper 101 is 1.65 or lower at -30°C, if it is 1 at 60°C. Thus, the degradation of the vibration damping performance in a low temperature region is kept at an allowable level, and so the damper has improved vibration damping performance without causing the looseness of the center bolt 105.
