PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a tire vulcanizing mold excellent in workability for simplifying a process for molding a gypsum mold in a gypsum casting method. SOLUTION: When a dummy sipe 11 is inserted in the sipe part 10a of a master 10 in a process for manufacturing a casting mold comprising gypsum, a recessed groove 11b is preformed along the tread surface Q of the master 10 in the thickness direction of the dummy sipe 11 and, in a state that the dummy sipe 11 is inserted in the sipe part 10a of the master 10, the recessed groove 11b is positioned in the vicinity of the tread surface Q.
