PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positional information acquisition system acquiring positional information and name easily even in a place where a GPS signal does not reach, e.g. an underground center, and also to provide an action history recorder using it. SOLUTION: Positional information servers 102 having a narrow service area are installed in many places including underground centers and positional information and name are transmitted periodically. The positional information and name from the positional information server 102 is received by a portable terminal 101 in the service area of the positional information server 102 and stored in a positional information history storage section 202 while being paired with its receiving time obtained from a clock 204.
